A Complete Schedule Of E3 2014 Press Conferences

A Complete Schedule Of E3 2014 Press Conferences

Do you hear that noise? That buzzing in the air, like a swarm of hype-drunk wasps, ready to tear limb from limb? That’s the sound of E3.

The video game industry is about to descend on Los Angeles for its biggest news week of the year. Starting this Monday, June 9, it will be nothing but game announcements, hype reels, trailers, awkward on-stage demos and nightmarish photos of crowded show booths, all the way through to the weekend.

Kotaku will be in the thick of it doing what we do best: Running around on the show floor, playing game demos, and interviewing the people making the most interesting games, all while our home team brings you all the breaking news you can handle.

As usual, E3 is preceded by a mess of press conferences, most of which take place on Monday. The press conferences are typically where the biggest news of E3 is announced, and we’ll have them all* streaming right here at Kotaku.

For your planning consideration, we’ve put together a schedule of those press conferences. Since E3 is in Los Angeles, all times are listed in Pacific Time, so add or subtract the appropriate number of hours for your respective timezones.

Two notes: First, some of the invitations for these press conferences don’t mention hard stop times, so we’ve listed the closest approximations. Second (*), we’re not quite clear on the deal with embedding Nintendo’s online event, so it could be that we’re unable to post it here. If that’s the case, we’ll be sure to tell you where you can watch it before it airs.

Here goes:

Monday, June 9

Microsoft

9.30am – 11am PDT (Tuesday, June 10, 2.30am – 4am AEST)

Electronic Arts

Noon – 2pm PDT (Tuesday, June 10, 5am – 7am AEST)

Ubisoft

3pm – 4pm PDT (Tuesday, June 10, 8am – 9am AEST)

Sony

6pm – 7.30/8pm PDT (Tuesday, June 10, 11am – 12.30/1pm AEST)

Tuesday, June 10

Nintendo (Online Video Event)

9am – 10/10.30am PDT (Wednesday, June 11, 2am – 3/3.30am AEST)

Like last year, publisher Square Enix will be streaming various things all week from the show floor. Microsoft will also be streaming things on their Twitch channel (more info here), Nintendo will be broadcasting game demos from their booth on Tuesday through Thursday as well as a Super Smash Bros. tournament on Tuesday, and Sony will have a similar kind of stream on the PlayStation Blog and on Ustream.

Let’s do this thing. Don’t forget to stay hydrated.
