Anyone who has played enough Heroes of the Storm knows that preconceived notions brought from other MOBAs are dangerous and toxic. This game is its own beast — and this guide aims to tackle some higher level theory.
You need to think differently in Heroes of the Storm. Different moves will win you the game at different points, crazy team compositions are completely viable (with a plan), and team fights operate differently according to the ridiculous combinations of abilities. That’s before we even get to characters like Murky, Abathur, and The Lost Vikings.
This video is intended to get you thinking along slightly different lines than you would be if you’ve come from other MOBAs, and contains useful ideas even if you’re new to the genre, though it does assume basic knowledge.
