Overwatch is Blizzard’s first stab at the FPS genre, and it was always going to be interesting to see what options they deemed important for the beta of competitive shooter.
If you’ve been wondering whether Blizzard has catered to you, then look no further: we’ve got all the information you need.
When the beta unlocked first thing early this morning — it was some time after 5:00 AM for me, from memory — I fired it up and ran through all the options and settings.
Below you’ll be able to see every single thing that can be tweaked from the in-game options, although take note: you can’t change the game’s field of view. There’s also a run-through of the in-built tutorial at the end, sans commentary for those who prefer it.
It’ll be interesting to see what gets tweaked and adjusted over the course of the beta. But for now, it’s a pretty good list to start with. And as people are beginning to — somewhat unfairly — point out: Overwatch is opening the gates with 7 maps, private games, custom matches, and has 18 playable characters, compared to the 1 AI solo mission, 2 game modes and 2 maps playable in the Battlefront beta.

I think you mean the Battleborn beta? 🙂
The Tattoine mission, Walker Assault on Hoth, Sullust and Drop Zone. No, pretty sure I meant Battlefront.
Sounds like the Battlefront beta. It had two multiplayer modes with one map each, and one horde mode level.

Battlefront or Battleborn?
So did they give any Australians keys? I remember seeing that only Americans will get it first then Europeans later.
AFAIK was only US and very limited number of accounts given access, Could be wrong though, likely just going out to a limited number of regular people and beta sign up participants. With the larger portion of access provided to popular streamers.
I’m not sure I want to go through a 17 minute video of settings but I didn’t see anything about viewbob when i was skipping through it. Can you get rid of it? Gives me motion sickness.
