This is Xbox’s $200 Elite controller. $200! Sounds crazy, right? I thought so too when Microsoft alerted the world of its existence. But yeah, I was wrong.
Although we’re saving our full review for when we can pin this guy up against the ole’ regular Xbox controller while sniping Grunts in Halo 5: Guardians next week, we couldn’t help but take a few photos of this marvelously designed piece of joystick technology. Take a look:

Freeshippingtech.com.au was selling them for $143 a few days ago.
At that price I think it’s good value, especially since controllers don’t really depreciate in price at retail (it won’t be $30 in 9 months like a game will be).
They just depreciate in functionality. Like buttons getting stuck or not working at all after a while. 😛

It’s worth looking into if you either don’t own a Xbox One or want to upgrade to a larger HDD. The 1TB Elite Console + Controller works out decently for the price, considering the controller is near $200 on its own as mentioned.
Yeah, that price has me kinda tempted. I mean I haven’t really liked the ‘bone controllers from what I’ve felt so far, they seem so cheap and horrible. But having read around on this, it sounds like it feels pretty good. I think if they have any at PAX for me to check out it could very well tip me over the line, since the only controller I have for PC at the moment is some super old Logitech generic USB thingo with square windows on the control sticks (and the corners are on the diagonals, not even the main compass points. Yuck :P).
Will this work on PC though?
I believe it’ll work if plugged in via USB cable, though if you want to use it wirelessly you’ll need the wireless adapter (which I don’t think is released yet, possibly?) which only works with Windows 10.
