Watch The Weeklong Awesome Games Done Quick Charity Marathon

Just when you thought the holidays were ending, along comes an entire week of super-speedy runs through your favourite games for an excellent cause. It’s time for Awesome Games Done Quick. Let’s watch together!

Along with its summer variant, the Awesome Games Done Quick marathon has quickly become one of my favourite gaming events of the year. It’s all the joy of playing games and watching others play focused and applied towards a real-world problem.

This year’s event is raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. If previous Games Done Quick events are any indication, that worthy cause will have around a million dollars more to do its thing once the smoke clears early next Sunday morning.

This year’s line-up is packed with games old and new. Once the pre=show is out of the way we’ve got Splatoon kicking things off, so we’re starting new. Scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the lengthy schedule, they will be wrapping things up with Final Fantasy IV on Saturday night. At 4:25 AM on Thursday someone is going to play Animorphs.
