New Dishonored 2 Demo Will Transfer Your Progress To The Full Game

Dishonored 2 might not be the freshest game on the block, but that doesn’t mean everyone’s played it. Fence sitters, for example. Hard to swing a dagger or possess someone while balancing on a post! If you’ve been undecided since Dishonored 2‘s release in November of last year, Bethesda has just released a demo that should be your, uh, ticket off the picket.

Rather than release an entirely standalone product, the trial contains the initial three missions of the full version and allows play of either protagonist — Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin.

On top of this, your progress in the demo will transfer to the real McCoy, if you decided to drop some bucks on Dishonored 2:

What’s more, players that decide to upgrade to the full game during or after the free trial will keep all of the saves made during the trial, and can continue enjoying Dishonored 2’s campaign from where they left off.

If you do give Bethesda some of your carefully-nurtured wallet seeds, the game is $US29.99 ($40), 50 per cent off its normal price. Not a bad way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon honestly.
