Nier: Automata is another classic Yoko Taro game: It shouldn’t work, but it does. It’s one of those rare, once in a lifetime treats. Steam users are also fond of the nicely rendered robot arse.
Nier: Automata is firmly in the wheelhouse of director Yoko Taro’s particular brand of wacky. According to Steam, it will make you laugh; you’ll be able to appreciate some scantily-clad women; the gameplay is at Platinum’s best; and you will also cry horrible, wracking sobs as the game stomps on your heart. Holy crap, this game blew my mind.
Yeh just finished my first play through… only to find that it doesn’t end there. So happy when i realized it didn’t. The music is haunting and i can’t get enough of it. Need this game to last as long as it can.
You’re in for a wild ride.
