If you’re looking forward to slashing some stormtroopers up later this year, you’ll be pleased to know that the open beta for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 starts October 6.
Much like the previous Battlefront, and Battlefield before that, the open beta will last for a few days. DICE has announced that you can play in the beta from October 4 if you pre-order, although you might want to see how the servers hold up at launch before handing over your money.
The open beta will run until October 9 (US time) and will feature at least one map in the Galactic Assault mode and one Starfighter Assault map. The open beta will be available simultaneously across PC and consoles, and if previous years are any judge the beta window could always get extended by a day or two. (You know, if there’s an outage or something.)

Oh sweet, I can have a few days to demo a game I expect to have very little improved.
So much positivity
Oh he’s not wrong. Have you seen the pay to win on this? One of the legendary cards for the storm trooper is +60% damage +40 damage resistance.
All which can be purchased with real money…
They’ve stuck with cards? Really? Well there goes my positivity too haha
