In the latest trailer for Ridley Scott’s spin on Blade Runner, we get to see what the latest line of replicants looks like.
Rather than being a traditional trailer, the latest Blade Runner 2049 short is a scene from before the events of the new movie.
Jared Leto, starring as Niander Wallace, is making a pitch to a small group of executives about the future of replicants. Replicant technology has been banned, but Wallace is adamant that replicants are the only hope for humanity’s survival, and he makes his point in a fairly brutal manner.
Slowly but surely, I’m starting to gain a little faith in Blade Runner 2049. The movie hits local cinemas on October 5.
