Comments

Mount and Blade 2 is looking great. Got a bit of nostalgia from Star Control: Origins but something also feels a little... off about it.

The amount of games shown has put E3 to shame, honestly.

I would much rather quality over quantity. Most these games shown aren't anything too exciting. It just means you have to sort through more of these average trailers to find the good ones.

Just Cause 4 looks awesome fun

    Also... Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

First time in a while that I've said this about games, but that's a lot of interesting looking shit right there.

No mention or coverage of Stellaris the console edition? it is seriously brilliant Paradox is finally leading the charge to bring gran strategy games to console. its long over due. Thankfully Pillars of Eternity, Divinity Original Sin and Cities Skylines opened the door... imagine if Paradox bought the next generation of things like CK and EU to consoles, how dangerous would that be? The only thing that stops me playing their games is getting uncomfortable sitting up at a desk for so long. Playing them from a sofa sounds medically concerning in a different way. Bring them on.

I'm disappointed there wasn't any Life is Strange 2 coverage in Kotaku AU for the duration of Gamescom 2018 except for the trailer in this article.

I hope Star Control uses all/most of the original races from the first games. I loved them all as a child. Especially the Vux and the Spathi.
