Seems designer Clint Hocking (Far Cry 2), formerly of Ubisoft and Lucasarts, is now formerly of Valve as well.

INFORMATION OVERLOAD
A new low, even the picture lacks detail
Do you reckon they could have spent the time they saved writing an article finding a less pixelated photo? Seriously, I’ve been phasing towards Destructoid/Polygon for a while now and after today’s “articles” it’s pretty well nailing it home.
Luke Plunkett once again has excelled at his job at getting you to click his “articles”. The mere fact that you are in he commenting proves………………….awww GOD DAMN IT!
One-sentence-article Luke Plunkett, meet Adblock Plus.
Your move.
Ads or no ads, you still register as a “click” in their traffic analysis.
Cool. so, who’s this guy?
He’s that guy that used to work at Ubisoft and Lucasarts, then got a job at Valve but doesn’t work there anymore. Did you even read the article?
Lucky they put in the parenthesis, otherwise I’d have no idea!
I clicked to find out why this is news… Only to find out nothing.
I suppose I could click the link to gameinformer, but I’ve already wasted more than 30 seconds on the topic and nothing has convinced me of it’s worth.
Never write an article when you can just link to one.
Perhaps an arsehole?

How does a former Kotaku employee write their resume? Exactly what is their job description?
My mother used to say, “if you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull&%$#.” I’m pretty sure kotaku employees are utilise this tactic heavily (not just in their resumes but their articles too!)
So was he the lead designer on Far Cry 2 or did he just work on it?
Personally, I think the fact that he was game director of the original Splinter Cell is much more significant than creative director of Far Cry 2. OG Splinter Cell was a masterpiece.
kay… good to know.
