Well Glock. You did it. You stumped the good people of Kotaku with your haiku skills. Today I must give them baying masses a clue, so they can correctly guess the game and bring peace to the Kingdom…
But first, dat haiku.
A high rise caper
With help from some sweet agents
Leo would be proud”
And now, dat image:
Good luck!
This is HaiTaku. We write haikus about old video games and leave it you to guess what game we’re talking about. If you want to submit a Haiku feel free. Send it here!

edited to make the link work…
I’d recognise those bad sprites anywhere. The only two games I remember using that style was Hudson Hawk and Blues Brothers on Amiga. But then I remembered the leo reference, which mind you yesterday I was thinking “What games was Leonardo Da Vinci in?”
Also. Yay! Got one. 😉
Heh heh, those sprites give me ideas for other games to get writing Haitaku for. It’s been a while since I’ve submitted one. Muahahahaha.
Hey, I was right about one thing! It was referring to leonardo Da Vinci and not that silly actor…
Ah damn, I was too busy working this week and totally missed my haiku being posted!
Well done ianuniacke!
The Leo reference was more from the film itself (Hudson was stealing Da Vinci’s art/designs), as were the sweet agents (the CIA guys were named after chocolate bars). The high rise caper was all game though! Throw the baseball at the dog and make him jump off the ledge hehe.
Reminds me of the Lethal Weapon game a bit.
GAH! i know this image work brain work
It looks so damn familiar, I’m in the same boat!
@ianuniacke is right, it’s the Hudson Hawk game, the ‘sweet agents’ is because they were named after candy bars and ‘Leo’ is Leonardo Da Vinci.
Those graphics are freakin’ amazing, just saying.
James Pond??
Aargh looks like shadow dancer or strider but…
Bonanza Brothers?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade game?
Unless the Leo clue is referring to maybe “Growing Pains – The Game”
Definitely Hudson Hawk.
How can I still remember that from just the umbrella’s…
