According to a Japanese Shonen Jump scan obtained by Siliconera, it’s called Final Fantasy Explorers, and it’s a multiplayer action-RPG.
The game will focus on searching for crystals and battling Summons, Monster Hunter-style, in parties of four. Multiple jobs will be available in-game — four of which, the Knight, the Monk, the White Mage, and the Black Mage, are shown on the scan — and taking down Summons will require teamwork and a proper use of class abilities.
Could this be the mysterious 3DS game Nintendo was teasing for tonight? We’ll see. In any case, the scan doesn’t mention a price, a release date, or whether or not Explorers will be coming West.

If you level up and there are classes certainly its more like dark souls.
Have you even played Monster Hunter?
I think he’s referring to the fact that you team up and fight a large enemy action-RPG style as being like Monster Hunter.
Just because you level up and have classes doesn’t mean it’s like Dark Souls, otherwise you could say FF5, FF11, FF14, Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea, WoW, Diablo, and basically every other RPG that has classes is like Dark Souls…which they’re not…
I’m almost certain the original post is a troll post, it’s just too ridiculous to not be.
Im a big Mh fan. If you played demon souls you would see a lot of similarities in the main part of the game – the combat. dark and demon souls changed the concept a bit to include levels and classes. Dark souls obviously changed things a bit more in terms of the open world, but the main essence of the game being the combat remains pretty similar.
Monster hunter moved the Japanese action RPG genre into a more skill related role than phantasy star online, demon and dark souls changed the atmosphere to be all dark and “cool” (and removed the learning curve) and managed to break into the western market effectively. However dsouls does have levels and classes where as Mh does not.
sounds more like the ace attorney series to me.

sums it up
My first thought was Crystal Chronicles with a different art style.
