October’s PlayStation Plus lineup is a bit of a range. Friday the 13th is good for some co-op scares, and there’s also some indie gems in The Bridge and Read Only Memories. As always, these games are only “free” if you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
October’s PS Plus games are:
PlayStation 4
-
Friday the 13th: The Game
-
Laser League
PlayStation 3
-
Master Reboot
-
The Bridge (crossbuy with PS4 and Vita)
PlayStation Vita (crossbuy with PS4)
-
Rocketbirds 2: Evolution
-
2064 Read Only Memories

Some decent stuff for Vita there, but the PS4 stuff is a bit ‘meh’ in my opinion, especially after last month’s offering.
100% agree on this
PS4 games are junk…next month please
Laser League doesnt look that bad, just underplayed. Maybe being free will see it be played more.
But overall, its an underwhelming list, especially after a good run in recent months. Maybe they looked at the release schedule though, and realised that a good game now might be a waste, given the games coming out in October and November.
Is Friday the 13th not pretty much the same game as Dead by Daylight? Which we got a couple of months ago.
very different games .
I love the headlines on the related links at the bottom of this article.

“The Friday the 13th game isn’t very good”
So yeah… I’m sure it’ll be great?
Why would they put good games for the holidays season?
of course they would want you to buy all the hot releases in the holiday season.
