Threes
Many in the world are unfairly skilled at piano, fishing, programming or other hobbies that can be used to create great things and enrich people’s lives. I am good at the video game Threes.
Apple has released its annual “Best of” list, singling out the top selling, top downloaded, top grossing and all-round top apps of 2014. For “Game of the Year” they picked perspective puzzler Monument Valley and wildly-popular number cruncher Threes for iPad and iPhone respectively. Excellent.
When it comes to mobile gaming, there’s one complaint that has bubbled up for years now, and never seems to go away: touchscreen controls are a pain in the arse.
