He’s Not Just Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine’s Hero, He’s My Hero

I might not know a Space Marine from an exploding squiq, but I know a true action hero when I ram his weapon down the throats of a couple thousand Orks.

Let’s get to know Captain Titus, the warrior supreme of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

You’ve seen enough of Captain Titus to know that he’s a fearless and powerful combatant, but did you know he’s also a wise teacher? A boon companion? A potentially tender lover?

Okay, maybe not a tender lover. He is encased in metal and genetically enhanced to be much larger than average, but I’ve a feeling once you get past that bulletproof exterior you’ll find something special inside this tin can of a man.

Actually, once you get past that bulletproof exterior you’ve got a dead Space Marine. Only the very worst attempts to humanise a military killing machine result in a pile of guts once held together by powered armour.

For now we’ll leave his heart a mystery. It’s less messy that way. Just sit back, relax, and bask in his titular glory.

I wonder if Titus riding the Ork ship on the way down as it crashes is a developer homage to the Angry Marines? All that is missing is Titus wielding a Sick guitar as it goes down!! :D

God I hope they’ve put lots of homages to the different no-so-official chapters xD

    ??

They can take their armour off – they have Matrix-like interface implants rather than having the armour grafted to their body. Maybe you’re thinking of a Dreadnought?

Good to see I’m not the only one who jumped up onto that.

Note Titus, like all Space Marines, actually has two hearts. So he’s twice as mysterious.
