Halo: Spartan Assault — the top-down, twin-stick shooter released earlier this year for Windows 8 PCs and mobile devices — is coming to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One by the end of 2013, Microsoft said this morning.
The game on consoles will feature a new online co-op mode, and new missions showcasing the mode. The Flood will also be an adversary in Spartan Assault on the 360 and Xbox One, and Operation Hydra, the expansion from the original game, will also be available.
Vanguard, makers of twin-stick shooter Gatling Gears, is behind Halo: Spartan Assault (along with 343 Industies.) You can read Mike Fahey’s review of it, on a Windows 8 Surface tablet, here.
