What’s in store for this week’s cosplay roundup? Well, we’ve got some Mass Effect. Some Attack on Titan. Some Kiki’s Delivery Service (yes!), some Castlevania, some Alice. And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without someone dressed as Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite.

Fancy Pants is Kotaku’s weekly round-up of the best in video game cosplay (costume play), where fans dress up as their favourite characters.

One response to “Miranda, Those Are Not Practical Space Combat Boots”
Hey look, it’s the shoes they wish they gave Samus in Other M instead of the equally stupid pair.
Mass effect fields and biotics make waking in heels easy.
3rd pic. “Does my arse look big in this”
*reply behind camera* – “na, but i can add more fat if yah like”
Ugh, article title makes me want to vomit. No one cares about practicality, ok?? She’s not a real soldier, she’s a chick character designed to get horny dudes to buy crap they don’t need, whether its movies or tv shows or comics – it’s the same principle across the board and I personally can’t get enough of it. Yeah I know her boots would be no good in a combat situation, but I know they’d be damn good in a bootjob situation and frankly that’s all that matters. pass me the tissues.
