Twitch Streamer The_Happy_Hobbit just did the impossible. He just achieved the very first no hits taken Dark Souls run.
Insanity.

His current plan: do it all over again. The ultimate goal: play all three Dark Souls games from start to finish without getting hit. Seems impossible, but I thought a no hits run of just Dark Souls would have been impossible so what do I know!
But right now? It looks like he’s about to try it all over again, which is crazy. I’d be going for a nice lie down right now.
You can watch the live stream here (he’s currently still playing).

Pfft, always knew that game was too easy.
was this a speed run or a full length run
speed run. He’s going to do all bosses next.
So, Blighttown swamp? Or is that explained at some point?
The run was not getting hit, not without taking damage.
So… would that be a single run? I.e. if he gets hit in DS3 does he have to go back and start from the beginning of DS1 again?
yep, he would do all three but start over on any hit in any game. Would be quite a long time for that though. Up until yesterday the furthest he made it was just past four kings and then got hit with a residual homing spell after the fight was over.
Here was one of his attempts from earlier
I would’ve thought this had been done already possibly during speedruns…
There are so many little things I didn’t even know could happen. Like little subtle hits by Sif jumping back or Seath spikes ever so slightly hitting him. No death runs are common, but this no hit run (and using a shield to block was not an option) was very tedious.
