Fable video games are supposed to operate around a promise. The three role-playing games spearheaded by former Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux dangled themes of changeable appearance, persistent consequence and pledge-keeping to pique players’ interest. And, yeah, the knock on the Fable games is that they tend to overpromise and under-deliver. However, to my mind, it’s always been better that they reached for something.

Xbox.com leaked the images last night, and now we’ve got the video of Fable Heroesm Lionhead’s candy-coated four-player co-op journey through the lands of Albion.
Seemingly jumping the gun ahead of next week’s Game Developers Conference, a listing on Xbox.com has appeared for a game called Fable Heroes.
The game developer behind the famous Peter Molydeux parody twitter account has made contact with Kotaku AU to let us know why his account was suspended.
Develop is reporting that Microsoft’s successor to the Xbox 360, is set for a 2013 release, as suggested by a number of different sources – from “chip manufacturers to middleware firms”. In addition, Lionhead is apparently working on a project titled ‘Fable Next’.
