Remember This?

Can you guess this old game from just one screenshot?

I’ll update this post with the answer at 5pm today if no one has guessed before then. Or if you do guess it before then, feel free to share your memories of a classic game.

Good luck!

Alex Kidd in World of Unfortunate Franchises, apparently localised in the West as "Alex Kidd in Shinobi World".

Reminds me of Alex Kidd, but I have no confidence.

It's good to have Remember This? back, even if i never know what it is.

Certainly looks like Alex Kidd, but I don't remember him having a sword...just an abnormally large fist.

Jung, thats a little too easy.. .as it has already been mentioned, it's "alex kidd in shinobi world" aka "alex kidd no where near as good as the original"

    Alex kidd in shinobi world!

Yeh shinobi world... my girlfriend still plays this regularly. I dont get it personally.

      On Sega Master System

Wow...I thought Alex Kidd in Shinobi World was actually a joke answer. I never knew this was actually a real game.

Oh the horror - I guess this was an early sign of Sega's downfall with Sonic then...

    Hooray! Another Remember This!
Pity I'm way too late, as I knew this one :(
    Will it be daily again?

Alex Kidd in Shinobi World for the Master System. Without doubt the easiest of the Alex Kidd games... though I still don't think I actually beat it!

(I still have nightmares about those @#$%ing rock-paper-scissors games in Miracle World)

Alex Kidd In Shinobi World was actually a good Alex Kidd game. Wonder World and The Enchanted Castle were horrid however.

Alex Kidd! i play this once every week hehe, a personal fav.

Yeah I'm days late but I knew this as soon as I saw it, which is saying something as I never really enjoyed the Alex Kidd games much, I always rage quit haha.
I knew this though because I liked the shinobi game and this intrigued me about what other characters would end up in established IP's.
