And now for this week’s Commander Computer Games! Wait, what on earth…?

  • Ugh, Terraria, Trine and Guardian of Light all for less than $15 combined? Must resist… Backlog too big as it is… But heard so many good things… NO! Resist! Self-control!

    • Here’s what to do:

Buy Trine (if you don’t already have it then that’s probably the best price you’ll be able to find it for… unless you really want to hold off for an eventual $1.50 Steam deal or another Humble bundling)

Organise a Terraria 4-pack (it will be even cheaper still, and there is effectively a guarantee of more than enough people happy to buy in or trade for other games if you don’t have friends to split it with directly)

Guardian of Light is a good deal, but I recommend holding off on that one because it goes down to $5ish often enough in Steam sales, and chances are you’ll be able to get the DLC at whatever discount is presented as well – that’s what I did and I think it only cost me $6-$7 for the game bundled with all the DLC!

  • Champion jockey for less than $40? Damn that’s right in the sweet spot for disposable income i’m willing to spend on a joke.

  • I got a bit excited that Cave Story is getting re-released. Wish I had a 3DS though. Maybe now there’s been that price drop…..

  • those looking back in time at this

you can get Red Orchestra 2 (currently 36 dollars on steam for normal, or 45 for DD for 27 and 33 dollars on The Green Gamer currently with there 20% off on top of the already 15% off pre order bonus.

Or and yet to try you can give Deus Ex an try and see if Localized pricing hasn’t hit these new guys and that you can get Deus Ex for 33 dollars, cheaper than Oz game shop by a few dollars and day one download. i am going to do this as i was about to buy Deus Ex from UK.
