Fine Art: Connor, You Didn’t Have To Shoot That Guy

We’ve featured the work of Ubisoft artist Gilles Beloeil here on Fine Art before, but you know what, that was for Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Since Assassin’s Creed III is just out, now’s probably a good time to cover his more recent work on the series.

Unlike the pieces we saw the other day, which were a collection of various styles and artists, Beloeil’s work here are nearly all moody environment pieces, helping set the tone for the colonial vision of America found in the game.

Like what you see? There’s more of Gilles’ work at his personal site, while you can check out Stephen’s review of ACIII here.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists.
