   Probably gonna get some flak for continuing my dislike for Halo 4, but I didn’t really like the graphics. There was something off about it that I can’t quite put my finger on.

   Maybe, the graphics look shiny, but the actual designs aren’t interesting. Which is completely opposite to Reach, where the graphics looked grainy but the designs were really great.

   totally agreed. in the first level i was like “oo pretty” and then on requiem the first time you come across a warthog and the requiem theme starts up, i literally stopped and looked at the giant forerunner floating spires for like 5 minutes.

      Oh this * 100. Those floating spires casting shadows on the undersides of the clouds… wow. That’s mostly art and design and not technical stuff, but it did make me stop in awe for a while.

   The problem with the current gen of consoles is that no matter how good the game art is (e.g. models, textures and effects), the low resolution and jaggy edges (aliasing) spoil the image.

   Even Gran Turismo 5 with it’s 1080p support looks fuzzy around the edges.

      GT5 looks terrible anyway, it is also a bad game.

      Everyone goes on about “Jaggies” must be one of these things that you only notice if a) you have a Jumbotron b) someone points it out to you! Halo 4 (to me at least) looks a generation ahead of Halo 3 which at times looks like an Xbox 1 game.

   Nothing on PS3 or XBOX can look as good as PC graphics. I said it. The art may be great but the resolution and graphics processing is at least 5 years old…

   @lillee Yeah dude. Push bikes don’t go as fast as motorbikes but people still ride them. nuff said.
