William Shatner Replicates ‘That’ Fight For The Release Of Star Trek: The Video Game

For the longest time, the fight between Captain Kirk and Gorn was my favourite clip on YouTube. Not being a trekkie, I didn’t understand the context of the episode, so I just assumed it was a hilariously bad fight scene. But now, in a genius promotional move for the new Star Trek video game, Paramount have dragged William Shatner back to totally recreate that scene.

It’s pretty well done, and plays on the fact that Shatner is now old, but that also plays into the hilarity of the initial slow motion fight. META. So yeah, I laughed. Pretty good stuff.
