Sony's President Drops A Victorious Mic

Sony had a good day yesterday. They said basically everything every gamer and press member in the audience -- and watching on livestreams -- wanted to hear. (Everything except for good news on The Last Guardian, that is *sadface*.)

So when Jack Tretton was invited on Spike TV to reminisce about the grand announcements, host (and Kotaku friend) Geoff Keighley gave him a mic to drop. And for good reason too. Although it certainly looks like he chucked it over his shoulder. Close enough.

Thanks Jeremy Hoffman!

    Sadface indeed. But apparently:

The game is in active development. [Lead designer Fumito] Ueda-san shared updates a few months ago. Nothing has changed. My answer is ‘Yes, the game is in active development.’ It’s not hiatus at all. But we are not ready to reintroduce it. When we are ready, we will do that. Please wait. - Shuhei Yoshida

Seems weird to see Geoff not surrounded by Doritos & Mountain Dew.

At least the sunglasses hide his dead, dead eyes.

I admit, Jack Trenton seems to be a lot more down to earth then some company big wigs these days.
I hope he sticks around with Sony for a few years to come as much as I hope Kaz Hirai stays president of Sony itself.
