Burnout Dev Wants To Make New Burnout Crash Game (With Giant Trucks)

Adam “DjArcas” Sawkins used to work at Burnout developers Criterion. He left a while ago, to work on indie titles like Fortresscraft, but recently figured that hey, if nobody else is making Burnout games anymore, he may as well.

He can’t afford the licence, obviously, but his Unity game Truck Stop is a Burnout game in everything but name. Actually, it’s even more specific than that. It’s the series’ fantastic crash mode game… mode, distilled into a standalone title, and now you’re driving a huge truck.

It looks a little rough, but it’s both a work-in-progress and a Unity game. Come for the physics, stay for the physics.
