Persona 4 Arena Gets Three New Characters And A Killer Name Extension

Persona 4 Arena is a wonderful fighting game. Persona 4 Arena with an extended story, two new character from Persona 3 and one fresh face is Persona 4 Arena The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold. Hell yeah.

Coming to Japanese arcades this winter, this update picks up the incredibly lengthy story where Persona 4 Arena left off, with a new tournament popping up on television and three new fighters joining the fray. Junpei and Yukari from Persona 3 are joined by Sho Minazuki, who is someone we do not know. Whatever — they could add Barney the dinosaur, as long as Yukari was coming with.

No word on if/when the update is coming to consoles, but if I don’t see game cases with the title “Persona 4 Arena The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold” at my local retailer by the middle of next year, I will weep like a sad little puppy.
