While You Were Sleeping

It’s Monday again. The flow of time. It continues. Onward. Please stop. WHY THE HELL WON’T YOU STOP? (Welcome to While You Were Sleeping, we talk about news and stuff!)

This weekend was Blizzcon. It was, as you might expect, a pretty big deal and plenty of newsworthy thing seems to happen!

The biggest news was arguably the whole Warlords of Draenor thing. I’ll save the explaining for the post itself which you can read here. It’s a new expansion that brings the original Warcraft Trilogy to WoW and it looks cool.

Other things? Well we know more about the Warcraft movie now and that’s good I suppose. I guess it really is happening now and has the potential to be good. Crazy.

Oh and cosplay. There was some really awesome Warcraft cosplay. This might be the best one.

But perhaps Blizzcon was overshadowed by the brilliant updates of a young chap who was bizarrely shipped an Xbox One early in the US. This guy probably did a better job of making people excited about the Xbox One than any other member of Microsoft ever. Then he sort of got shut down. Weird.

Oh, and that whole Dota 2 Diretide thing? It’ll happen eventually.
