While the Assassin’s Creed Rogue debut trailer was CG heavy, we now (finally!) get a look at Rogue‘s gameplay — on land and at sea.
Set during the Seven Years’ War, it features a Templar named Shay — something Kotaku first reported in March. Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be out this November on last gen platforms.

Am I the only one that assumed AC Rogue would be to Black Flag, what Brotherhood was to AC2?
So true. Im glad that completely changed the gameplay in Unity. I cant wait to play that.
I was looking forward to this for more ship combat but you guys just ruined it for me with logic thought process, curse you, curse you all to hell!
A whole new world, new characters and a (presumably) new plot. Do we really care if the gameplay is almost the same?
Not just them, the industry is going in a horrible direction. Battle Field Hardline, Sims 4, Watch_dogs .. the future is looking bleak :/
Wait what? Watch_Dogs was disappointing sure (i still enjoyed it for what it was personally but still it was disappointing) but Ubisoft should be congratulated for having a go at trying to break in a new IP – not many other third parties have even attempted it yet for this new generation.
I still can’t play on a high end PC with all updates and if they need to resort to false advertising to sell their product show’s how confident they were but I do agree with you about making new IP’s.
Why give Ubisoft crap for this?
Yeah this is essentially a new version, mod of Black Flag, but that game was great! Most studios would be releasing this as the entire new game entry.
This is where people just hate to hate. Many people would be glad to continue the type of game Black Flag was. Saying they’re milking? Well don’t play it.
Complaining it is similar, why? Well, they are also releasing a brand new next gen AC game that looks amazing.
This is just them giving a new game for old gen console people. I am sure it will make its way to PC and Next Gen eventually.
