Who knew Parisian adventures of sneaky assassinations could be improved with a few choice bugs and hiccups?
Since it’s release, players have found all sorts of entertaining glitches in Unity. Some bugs show the horrors of what happens when textures don’t load. Some glitches show Arno struggling with climbing things — sometimes, seemingly swimming/dangling on things he shouldn’t be. And sometimes, glitches show the game fumbling with its randomly generated NPCs. What all of these have in common, though, is that they’re hilarious.

Something to keep an eye out while you’re playing is the NPCs — Unity generates huge crowds, and sometimes, people don’t act quite how they’re supposed to.

But my favourite type of glitches has to be the ones where Arno gets stuck, falls through the map, or somehow gains the ability to walk on air. For example:

He can also fall through the map, which is a useful tactical manoeuvre during battle — they can’t kill you if they can’t get to you, right?

The unloaded face texture glitch actually makes me want to buy this game. I think it needs a game mode dedicated to that glitch.
Nah, follow in EAs footsteps when it encounters a glitch. Advertise it!

Playing undead nightmare.
– Saving a town
– A tank zombie and spitter glitch out
– the spitter climbs on top of the tank zombie
– starts riding it like a horse
– I shoot at the tank zombie
– The spitter zombie gets thrown off and starts shooting at me with a pistol
– I die
– Undead nightmare is now terrifying
There was that and another glitch where a zombie jumped on my war horse and walked off a cliff with it.
I literally laughed so hard I your post that I thought I was going to die. That is BRILLIANT!
oh that did have the best, I loved the ones that involved bouncing carriages. It looked like you’d rigged it up with hydraulics if it glitched just right.
the best glitch is when my phone loads all the youtube videos as the same video

To be fair, if they had put female lead characters into this game they would’ve been criticised for them being portrayed as far too skinny (in fact there’d be no skin on them at all) and performing feats that no woman can reasonably accomplish like walking on air

Someone needs to make a game with the unloaded face guy as the main character, he looks awesome!

I’d like to take his face… off.
Ehm… so after that 40gb patch my character has a weird glitch where he won’t stop talking. His lips are moving but he’s not saying anything. Quitting didn’t get it to stop. What the hell is going on? I swear it’s like these character models are possessed by demons.
I got a similar glitch in Black Flag the other day. Edward had his wincing face on for about half an hour, all the way through Opia’s Templar Hunt missions. It was really weird, since it looked like he was either in serious pain, or else trying to not explode at her.
