This Week In Games: Journey On PS4. Hurray!

Man, this is a little depressing. Another week and wasteland. I like this at first, but there’s only so much Splatoon I can play! At least we have Journey on PS4. Probably a perfect time to replay this classic.

You guys and girls picking anything up?

Blues and Bullets (PC)

What is it? A noir effort where you play as Eliot Ness investigating stuff. Sounds a bit hokey.
Should you care? But it looks alright. Might be worth a look.

Build ‘n Bump (PC)

What is it? A platform brawler thing where you actually build your own levels before playing/fighting.
Should you care? Super simplistic, but looks like a fun party game.

Feist (PC)

What is it? A 2D platformer that looks like Limbo with combat elements.
Should you care? It looks really gorgeous, but might struggle with the Limbo comparisons.

Journey (PS4)

What is it? It’s only one of the best games on the PS3 ever. Now on PS4.
Should you care? I think so. I’ve been looking for an excuse to replay this.

Olympia Rising (PC)

What is it? A 2D platformer set in ancient greece with all that greek mythology.
Should you care? Looks pretty. Looks cool. Worth checking out.

Russian Front (PC)

What is it? A strategy game set across the theatre of the eastern front.
Should you care? It’s very bare bones, but strategy heads seem to like it.

RETSNOM (PC)

What is it? It’s a puzzle platformer with a unique ‘mirror’ mechanic that allows players to create a mirror of the game map.
Should you care? It looks really goddamn cool. Gonna try and play this I think.

Transcendence (PC)

What is it? An open world space exploration game with simple 2D visuals. Looks cool.
Should you care? Well, I know very little about it, but I’m intrigued. I like the idea. I like the art style.

Way of the Samurai 4 (PC)

What is it? A samurai series, previously exclusive to the PlayStation, hits PC. Looks decent.
Should you care? It’s a fairly big budget game. Reviews were mediocre. Probably skip this.

Yasai Ninja (PC)

What is it? A hack and slash game about samurai made out of vegetable.
Should you care? Man, it looks okay. Just okay.
