A Year Later, People Are Still Finding New Things In P.T.

Pop quiz! Did you know it's possible to see Lisa, the disturbing ghost from P.T., in the basement room that you start the game in? I didn't.

While there have been some whispers about Lisa's appearance in the first room of the game, actual evidence of her apparition there didn't really start circulating heavily until this year. Yesterday, Reddit user metatronicsauce shared a screenshot that placed Lisa in the room with the brown bag:

"After you get trapped in the bathroom and are forced to be possessed on the next loop, get killed by Lisa to get back to the room you start in," metatronicsauce explains. "If you exit the room backwards, you will see Lisa very briefly before you enter the hallway." It almost sounds like bullshit, doesn't it? Walk backwards? Yeah, right!

It's true, though. Footage taken this year by unitedplayersclub PS4 proves that the screenshot above is no mere Photoshop. Be warned, though: the jumpscare here is creepy as fuck!

Amazing, huh? I can't help but wonder if the game is still hiding some secrets that nobody has found.

    I didn't even know the candle does that after the first possession. Lol

    I kind of forgot how perfectly creepy P.T. was until watching that video, and now I feel sad.

    There are only two things Konami gives a poopiekins about now: Getting Phantom Pain out the door asap and making more Japanese pokie machines. They lost the plot ages ago and snarfed up absolutely everything by getting rid of Kojima. I hope they as a company, suffer a very slow and painful death.

    Johnny Cage's second MKX fatality represents exactly what I would like to do to Konami - smash their snarfing head into the ground over and over. Cancelling PT was just cruel and obscene.

    I never got to experience P.T - now I never will. :(

      You should consider checking out PuniTy. Some brave soul is working to recreate as much of PT as they can in the Unity engine.

    Might be a bug where it loads the model once the trigger into the next section is hit. Normally you would be facing the door (instead of backing into it) so you see the model for a frame.

    Fuck this teaser was so amazing.... Loved every minute of it, whilst simultaneously being freaked out! :D

      I know. I was so looking forward to the full game (especially after the little teaser trailer), but now I have to accept the sad fact that the next Silent Hill game is a goddamn pachinko machine.

    Is it just me or does anyone else find the talking paper bag adorable. I would like to think it would be my sidekick in another life.

    You warned there was a jumpscare and it still made me jump.
