Skaven Ratted Out As Total War: Warhammer 2’s Fourth Race

As predicted when first announced, the fourth race to join the ranks of Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer 2 is the rat-like Skaven. Rather than crank out a cinematic trailer to show them off, the developer has gone with an in-engine demo instead.

Their motives obscured, the devious Skaven are a highly numerous species who inhabit vast subterranean lairs. Now, their time of prophecy is upon us, and this verminous Race have emerged to spread pestilence and mayhem across the face of the New World.

To complement the announcement, CA also published the following poster:

While there was little doubt the Skaven would make an appearance in the sequel, it’s nice to have it official.
