Netflix’s worldwide streaming dominance is wholly dependent on the strength of its original content. Fortunately for subscribers, a bunch of hot new shows are slated to appear next year. Here are ten compelling titles you might not have heard about – including one from Australia.
The above Screen Rant video breaks down ten new Netflix shows that will be appearing in 2018. This includes supernatural crime drama Tidelands – Netflix’s first Australian Original series.
Tidelands follows a former criminal as she returns home to the small fishing village of Orphelin Bay. When the body of a local fisherman washes ashore, she must uncover the town’s secrets while investigating its strange inhabitants, a group of dangerous half-Sirens, half-humans called “Tidelanders.” Sounds properly weird.
