Rockstar Support is replying to as many people as they can about the GTA Online money hackers.
Hackers are gifting people unwanted gobs of in-game money, seemingly making recipients vulnerable for game bans. Rockstar’s position, since Tuesday, from their Support Page, is what they’ve had to repeatedly link to ever since, including dozens of times today. Honest players, they say, shouldn’t worry:
Question: I was minding my own business and suddently received a huge amount of money in GTA Online from a cheater. Am I in trouble?
Answer: To keep the gameplay environment as fair as possible for legitimate players, we routinely do sweeps to separate out cheaters and modders, and to reverse any illegitimate transactions. These sweeps are based on in-game automated detection, examination of suspicious gameplay statistics, and also manually-reviewed evidence submitted by the Community. If you were not engaged in any willful cheating or exploiting yourself, you do not need to worry about getting caught up in our work to separate out cheaters from the rest of the population.

So I guess spending the billions of cash I’ve been unwilling receiving makes me one of the exploiting players then? Because seriously I’ve tried everything to get rid of the cash including spending it on expensive vehicles and mods just to drop my cash amounts.
Why not gift it somewhere else?
Because then you will be sharing the money as well and you can get banned for it.
So will they loose their ill gotten cash if it was just given to them?
they should do a money wipe and plug the hole.
They could make it part of the story………like in Cyprus…..Only the government of Los santos took 100% of the money. They could even change the name of the gta bank??
Two weeks ago I bought 2 $20 PS3 cards to get money so I could start buying more stuff..What has happened is with certain players have mass amounts of money is being able to buy tanks and just driving around killing everyone… There is no level playing field. But this is GTA!! There is a certain amount of unfairness that is expected.. I bought the JB 700 Thinking I would just start drilling people like it was Death Race.. Now the only thing that is really unfair is the immortals the guys/girls who you throw a sticky bomb on them and blow them up and their still alive… That should be done away with
Hi I’m an honest gamer who has had bad luck with modders and cheaters! I’m not gonna lie I just like playing the game the way it was meant to be played and recently I got into a game where I got huge sums of cash ($9,000,000,000) where at first I was thankful but now I’m worried about being reset by RockStar I’m a legit level 164 on gta online, so RockStar please don’t reset me. I would say my gamer tag but like I said I’m worried about being reset I’ve try so hard to get rid of it, but it’s hard to get rid of so much money and I just want to play the game the way you meant for it to be played! Thank you for your time!
I was randomly given 7billion in a session! Trying to get rid but it’s impossible I didn’t ask for it!! Gta5 online has gone mad! Now probably innocent players will get banned!
I was levle 137 but i joined a mission and then got to levle 894 from killing one person and loads of money can u help
“It’s not about the money, it’s about sending a message. Everything burns!”.
Rockstar should make a money dump mission for hacked cash with the requirement being the amount of gifted cash or something. Joker comes along and burns it all. Could be kinda fun.
So rockstar knows if they r modding in an invite only session…im not sayin this cuz I know who do…and im not a modder
Rockstar gets millions or probably billions of real money from their games so why cant us players be billionares in their fake yet badass games!?!?
