If you were hoping to recreate your own club career on PC, good news: the PC version of Don Bradman Cricket 17 has finally launched.
As was the case with the previous game, Big Ant are able to push out updates on Steam a lot faster than they can on the consoles. There were a slew of glitches and omissions from the console launch, but users have already noted that the game has gotten plenty of fixes for the PC release.
There’s a good thread on the PlanetCricket forums outlining all of the specifics, but the good news: detailed career stats have been implemented, the wicketkeeper reacts faster to take advantage of stumpings now, some of the issues around batting have been rectified, and the AI is a little smarter with its field placings.
Here’s the game’s store listing. It’s gotten a hammering on Steam so far, but it’s worth remembering that the original Don Bradman got substantially better after release, too.
