I’ve spent the last week playing through the multiplayer portion of Metal Gear Solid V — and I gotta say, despite the initial launch hiccups, I’m pretty sure I like it better than the base game.
Metal Gear Online is launching today. We previously checked out the game at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. It seems like a lot of fun. You know what isn’t fun? Charging people for what’s essentially a cheat mode.
Well, that answers that. The Metal Gear Online project being hyped for yesterday’s Game Awards wasn’t a new game. It’s the name for Metal Gear Solid V‘s multiplayer component.
