Look, people have opinions about Quiet's character design. If you don't like it, that's totally understandable. If you do, there are companies ready to take your money.


There's a cutscene, late in Metal Gear Solid V, that's ostensibly serious but contains a musical interlude so awkward it sent me into giggle fits. A dozen missions later, there's a harrowing sequence that ranks among the best video game scenes I've ever played. If you don't know how to reconcile those two things, then, well, you probably haven't played Metal Gear Solid.


Well this gives a whole new meaning to the collectible cassette tapes in Metal Gear Solid V. In a Wes Anderson version we'd probably have B-sides of counterculture-rooted rock music instead of additional story elements.
