The upcoming mega-man-like from Keiji Inafune has a fairly meaty new trailer. The footage was shared in Mighty No. 9’s latest Kickstarter update, and it shows gameplay segments centred around boss fights, transformations and neat monitors that show the action from different angles.

Here is the first early footage of Mighty No. 9, the spiritual successor to Mega Man. It’s a “super-short, super-rough engine test” on the Unreal engine, and the final product may end up looking rather different according to today’s Kickstarter update.

Mighty No. 9’s Kickstarter campaign managed to reach its 2.2 million stretch goal, which means the game will receive ports for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U in addition to the original PC version.
