18Not all Electronic Arts-published games will be given the Project $US10/ Online Pass treatment. Rather than slap Syndicate with a one-use code that unlocks the game’s multiplayer features, EA will keep such access free, to grow interest in the shooter’s co-op mode it says.

I’ll go ahead and call this a glimmer of hope. When we first got a glimpse of the FPS reboot of the PC strategy classic Syndicate, I was dispirited. The original Syndicate was a isometric strategy game with a cold, still-iconic art style and a generally groovy vibe.

Am I right guys? [Awkward silence]. Most likely you are already well aware that Syndicate has been refused classification in Australia but this new trailer, which showcases the game’s co-op amongst other things, hardly reveals anything to suggest the game is more violent than any other shooter on the market.
