We’re Getting A Free-To-Play Command & Conquer Game Very Soon

EA isn’t just making a 2013 Command & Conquer game under the BioWare umbrella. They’re making a free game, an “all new free-to-play MMO strategy game” called Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances according to a press release today.

The game will be playable in browsers and on mobile platforms (none was specified). It goes into beta tomorrow, December 15.

Official summary from EA: ” The all new free-to-play, MMO strategy game is set in the Command & Conquer Tiberium universe. In the quest for world domination, players must choose their friends wisely and foster strategic alliances as they fight against each other and hordes of mutant enemies.”

It is being made by Phenomic, makers of Battleforge and the free-to-play Lord of Ultima.

Hmm… looks interesting, I like the worldwide battle thing, but I swear, if it starts asking me to invite friends, or purchase credits, it’s getting dumped.
