I’ve been rather hard on Activision’s mobile Wipeout game in the past, largely because it’s based on a silly television obstacle course show and not my beloved series of PlayStation hovercar racing games. Today I’m just so happy to see a new game in the Android paid charts that I don’t care. C’mere Wipeout, you big lug.
I seriously just spent $US1.99 on the game. Consider it a welcome to the charts gift, Wipeout. After weeks of watching the same titles shuffle about the charts lazily, your presence is a ray of sunshine in my dark, day-late Android charting world.
Yes, the more astute and observant among you may have noticed that I’ve been running this week’s charts a day later than I usually do. This is all part of an ingenious plan and has nothing to do with me not having time to get the iPhone charts done on Tuesday.
I guess I should probably play this game now. *pokes at it* Maybe later.
