I won’t speak for everyone, but I’m sure many self-proclaimed geeks have had their hobbies and passions bashed by high school teenagers who couldn’t comprehend the awesome. I certainly never replayed my favourite Final Fantasy games over and over in lieu of fellow gaming compatriots to share the experience with. No, never.
This must be weird. Nerd starlet Felicia Day, who stars in not just a Dragon Age web series but some Dragon Age II DLC, sits down here to play…Dragon Age II. As herself.
Dragon Age Redemption, the official live action web series by Felicia Day and friends, hits the halfway mark today with a release of the third of six episodes. In this instalment, she’s stabbing a guy who wants to help out. Pretty good episode, and, so far, my preferred way to get live-action interpretations of video games.
The second instalment of Felicia Day’s Dragon Age: Redemption six-episode web series is live. I missed the first, but this one’s solid. Fun characters. Reverent to the video game lore without being embarrassing.
Xbox Live now carries gear to dress your avatar like your favourite Guild member. Costumes and staffs are available for Zaboo, Codex, Tink, Clara, Bladezz and Vork. Bonus: according to Felicia Day’s Twitter, every Costume is unisex. Enjoy.
