Insomniac’s made big moves these last few months, pulling away from PlayStation exclusivity and declaring that they won’t be making any future Resistance games. You could argue that the future of the highly regarded developer is more independent but more risky, too. One thing’s certain: toys are on the way.
Widely expected to be the case, to the point that studio chief Ted Price was surprised it made big news, Insomniac has confirmed that it is finished with the Resistance series it started in 2006.
Set to debut any minute now at EA’s E3 2011 press conference, the developer of Ratchet & Clank and the Resistance games is taking their next big thing multiplatform, and this is it. This is Overstrike.
