While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping was a well-received romantic comedy starring the luminous Sandra Bullock and the irrepressible Bill Pullman.

It’s also the name of a regular section here at Kotaku, where we round up all the best news coming in overnight, to save you trawling down the page for an excuse to not start work. Don’t say we’re not good to you!

Just in case you missed it towards the end of yesterday, we posted a form that let's you email the Minister for Home Affairs and your Attorney-General regarding the R18+ rating. We recommend that you check it out. For a little bit of background, you may want to check this story out as well.

So, remember that Halo movie? Apparently it'll still happen according to Frank O' Connor. We have our doubts.

We have a quick look at the video game that plays itself, listen to a stand up routine about Solid Snake, and we ask the question: is it time for a major black and white video game?

@Halo Movie: Why? Do we even need it? Halo is a brilliant game. Did you read that? GAME, not MOVIE! >:[

@Self-Playing Kinect Game: I've actually tried this, and it only works sometimes (due to other AI players hitting you, using abilities on you, etc...)

@B&W Games: Limbo? But yes, I'd love to see some games which don't go by the standard "Brown is good" or "Brown is the only colour" mantra...

I hate how every time I read this article, I get Sandra Bullock's horse-faced snorts from Miss Congeniality reverbing around my head. Oh, the painful painful things you do to try and impress a girl.

    Thanks a lot Mark. *sobs*

OT: Halo movie. Love the games, but couldn't give two shits about a film. For me, they're two different mediums, two different ways to tell a story. I love both dearly, but god in hell I don't want any more crossovers. :(

I watched Halo:Legends and apart from the Origins segment, the rest... weren't as good.
