Game Artists Create Their Ultimate Characters

Every year, give or take a few months, the best video game artists from around the world get together and submit entries in a competition called Dominance War.

The aim is to create the ultimate character. Not replicate someone else’s, but come up with their own, then model and render it (or in some cases animate it) and make it look as badass as possible.

The competition is open to professionals, students and fans, though the former obviously dominates.

After some delays, the fifth Dominance War, with a theme of creating Gods, is now over, and the multitude of winners announced across its categories.

In the gallery above you’ll find the best of them, but to see the entire list of winners and accolades, be sure to head to the competition’s website.
