The Last Guardian — easily one of my most anticipated games of 2012. It was also my most anticipated games of 2011, but that totally didn’t happen. Anyway, apparently in the US a call went out from Gamestop telling everyone the game had been cancelled. Sony has come in quick to quell the rumour stating the game is still in development. But is there smoke without fire? What gives?
The PlayStation Vita has been released in Japan. But in its debut week the 3DS still managed to outsell it. Bear in mind the Vita is a more premium device, but it is still quite telling the Nintendo’s technically inferior product has outsold Sony’s behemoth in its first week.
Also — Facebooks most popular game wasn’t made by Zynga, Batman gets retro, and I really, really wish Portal 2 had won a VGA.
