And You Thought Cel-Shading Couldn't Get Any Prettier

If you think cel-shading is only something done in cartoons, or a few video games (and mostly then to stilted effect), check out what's possible when you put a little thought into the process.

The clip is sadly silent. May I be so bold as to make a recommendation.

More info, and a download link to the effects used, can be found below.

There's like three lines of text here. How much do you guys pay this joker?

Kotaku US pays him, and they pay him per pageview on the US site.
      Regardless, it's a good video.

They pay him to write these short pieces for the hits.

Whilst Luke is Australian, I believe he is the US sites night time editor, and is on the US payroll. Half of his US posts dont make it to the AUS site.

While the article is only vaguely connected to gaming, thems some pretty colours.

At the risk of being chased out of here, the video reminds me very much of the ending to Akira.

So what is it? Wanna explain it at all?

For some reason it just reminds me of a certain bit in Akira.

post 50% of stories, get flamed for lack of content.

The only complaint I have about short articles is that you don't need to scroll down to see the crying idiots.

kind of reminds me of when tetsuo's arm starts to mutate in akira.
