A lot can go down while you’re in your bed catching some ‘Zs’. Last night is a case in point.
Perhaps of most interest to me personally was the fact that Nintendo is planning to show off Pikmin and a new Mario game for the Wii U. I can’t say I’m too convinced of the console at this stage, but if anything will convince me it’s a great showing with a top notch launch line-up. Pikmin and Mario? Those are heavy hitters.
And Crysis 3 was announced. Plenty appear a bit worried about the recycled New York setting, but for me Crysis has always been about the core mechanics — it’s an enhanced shooter, and I enjoy just darting around using all the abilities. I liked Crysis 2, and I’m looking forward to this.
This feature asks us why games expect us to live such disturbingly neat lives, and this is your favourite video games damaged by porn. Also — what did you guys think of this Tupac holograph? I just don’t know about it, but I am a massive killjoy!
